Specifications as published by the manufacturer. All models are indoor units; for an outdoor gate, mount in a shaded, weather-protected enclosure.
Every punch is just a punch. TimeVault works out IN and OUT from sequence and rules, which is why sessions can be recomputed, and why a product that says "the device knows" is guessing.
A face enrolled on one model won't match on another. TimeVault marks the worker "needs re-enrolment" on the new model instead of failing silently at the gate.
Attendance terminals are not laptops. A separate network for them costs nothing on a managed switch and keeps credential traffic away from office machines.
